S&R Membership Shopping – Bacolod
It was just a matter of time when S&R membership shopping would be coming to Bacolod. It is actually heading to Negros sooner than we think. Mayor-elect “Albee” Benitez confirmed plans for the establishment of the membership shopping club within the city and looking for a 1.4 hectare property. S&R Membership Shopping is a warehouse that retails premium quality imported products and services in the Philippines with 22 warehouse branches across the country. Currently, it operates shops in the province’s neighboring islands Cebu and Iloilo.
Mapua Malayan Digital College – Bacolod
The newest College Institution in Bacolod is the Mapua Malayan Digital College (MMDC) that is set to plug itself into Philippine Education which combines the legacy and credibility of the academic institutions with the goal of higher learning. Mapua is accredited by CHED to teach fully online. So, as the new platform in education (fully online) is being embraced, MMDC provides another option for incoming freshmen students in Bacolod who want to get a standard education in Business and Technology.

McDonald’s Upper East
The enormous development by Megaworld continues to elevate the excitement in Bacolod City as it is set to build the “Philippines Most Beautiful McDonald’s” inside its 34 hectare township, The Upper East. The new McDonald’s store is considered as the largest in the whole Visayas, surrounded by landscaped and curated gardens that will also serve as an alfresco dining area. Firm’s senior assistant vice president Harold Geronimo said that the second Megaworld McDonald’s in Bacolod is expected to open in time for this year’s MassKara Festival in October.
Asia Pacific Medical Center – Bacolod
A modern Post-pandemic hospital is rising north of the city which will augment the current healthcare system. The 250-bed hospital will have the state-of-the-art facilities with green spaces to create a serene ambiance. A dedicated 5-storey medical arts building will also be erected along with the 7-storey main hospital building.
Rockwell Center Bacolod

The 30 hectare master-planned project will bring to Bacolod its distinct mark of safety, exclusivity, and quality that has been much awaited by the Negrenses.
